Where to Rent Strollers at Disneyland (4 options)

If you’re planning a Disneyland vacation with young kids, one of the first questions you’ll have is:

Where can I rent a stroller at Disneyland?

The good news is that there are several convenient stroller rental options both inside and outside the parks. In this guide, I’ll share the best companies to rent from, pricing details, and what you need to know before booking.

Our family ALWAYS rents a stroller when we go to Disneyland because we don’t own one that is big enough and durable enough to handle a day at the parks. Even as our kids get older, we still rent a stroller to help rest their legs and get them out of the sun.

Here is an overview of the best Disneyland stroller rental companies:

  • Best Overall: City Stroller Rentals – A great combination of pick-up and delivery options, customer service, stroller options, and price.
  • Cheapest: There was no clear winner regarding the least expensive stroller rentals at Disneyland. It depends on the type of stroller, length of stay, delivery needs, accessories, and other factors.
  • Best Single-Day Option: Disneyland – Single and double stroller rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the front of the park.

#1: City Stroller Rentals

City Stroller is one of the most popular options for renting a stroller at Disneyland!

In addition to strollers, they provide a variety of other baby equipment, such as booster seats, high chairs, and pack-n-plays.

They will also service your personal stroller AND provide a rental in its place while City Stroller makes yours in tip-top shape. Now that’s service!

Delivery & Pick-Up Options:

One benefit of using City Stroller is that they offer FREE delivery and pickup.

  • Disneyland Hotels: All deliveries must be made face-to-face, as the hotels no longer hold rental items for guests. You will choose a pick-up window when you reserve your stroller. They have windows available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., which is very convenient.
  • Good Neighbor Hotels (Disney-approved hotels around Disneyland): City Stroller delivers your rental to the front desk, so you can pick it up at your convenience. You can also drop off your stroller at the same location. *Some hotels require a meet-and-greet – double-check with City Stroller when you book.*
  • Airports (with a catch): Airport delivery is on a case-by-case basis with a $175 minimum.

City Stroller does not deliver to many subdivisions within the area. They list available delivery locations on their website, so double-check before you rent a stroller.

Available Strollers & Pricing:

The company offers single and double-strollers. Both strollers have a nearly full reclining seat and a large sun canopy. There are two single-strollers and three double-stroller models available.

All strollers have a parent console to help hold water bottles and phones. An optional damage waiver is available for $12.50.

#2: Traveling Baby

Traveling Baby Company has been delivering comfort for over 19 years. They consider themselves a one-stop shop for all baby rental gear, providing clean, safe, easy-to-use products with superior customer service.

Delivery & Pick-Up Options:

Hotels:

  • You can pick up and drop off your stroller at the hotel’s front desk or bell services or meet your delivery driver in person. *Make sure you confirm delivery policies with the hotel BEFORE your arrival, as they might have delivery restrictions that can incur fees.*

Private Residence/Vacation Rentals:

  • If using a vacation home, Traveling Baby has no problem delivering to you. Make sure you select “Private residence” when filling out your reservation form.
  • Delivery windows vary based on your location. Most are between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., giving you plenty of time to meet your driver and set everything up for your park day.

Available Strollers & Pricing:

Traveling Baby has plenty of stroller rental options. From joggers to single strollers to double strollers, they have it all. You can also add on accessories, including bar consoles, rain covers, glider boards, fans, and carriers.

Unfortunately, Traveling Baby does NOT offer free delivery. In addition to the cost of renting a stroller, there is a delivery and pick-up fee. For non-meet-and-greet rentals, the rate is $25. If you need to meet your driver, the fee is $40.

#3: ScooterBug

ScooterBug is the official featured provider of strollers for Disneyland Resort. Being given this distinction gives ScooterBug one HUGE advantage over the competition.

If you stay at a Disneyland Resort, ScooterBug is the ONLY stroller rental company that you do not have to physically meet at delivery or pick up.

  • There are THREE Disneyland Resorts: Grand Californian, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disneyland Hotel.

The company will deliver the stroller directly to the front desk of your resort, and you can pick it up at your convenience. Then, at the end of your trip, you just drop it back off at the front desk. 🙂

Three strollers are available through ScooterBug – a single, a double, and an adaptive stroller for kids with special needs. ScooterBug does not carry as extensive a line of strollers as some of the other options.

#4: Rent a stroller from Disneyland

It’s also possible to rent a stroller directly from Disneyland. This offers a convenient option for those who might need a stroller for a single day for those just-in-case moments.

Rentals are first-come, first-served and fill up quickly, so you must prioritize this! On busy days at Disneyland, you run the risk of the strollers being sold out.

Your stroller can be used in Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park. Both single and double strollers are available.

The strollers that Disneyland gives you are basic compared to those available from rental companies. They do not have cushions, are primarily plastic, and are restrictive in their size. Accessories are not included, so you will likely carry more yourself than the feature-heavy strollers from private companies.

Rates are $18 per day for a single stroller and $36 per day for a double. There are no discounts for renting for multiple days.

Regarding pricing, if you need a stroller for more than one day, renting a stroller directly from Disney is by far the MOST expensive option. You also can’t take them back to your resort, which is incredibly inconvenient if your kids are sleeping in the stroller at the end of a long day. 🙂

I would only rent a stroller directly from Disneyland if I was going to visit the parks for ONE day and needed a convenient option.

Once you book your arrival and hotel, we suggest immediately booking your stroller rental.

Disneyland is a very busy theme park, especially during peak seasons like Spring Break and holidays.

Most of the companies above offer free cancellations up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival.
