Complete Guide to Dining at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

While Art of Animation doesn’t have as many restaurants as other Disney resorts, there are still plenty of things to eat!

Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite before hitting the parks or unwinding with a meal at the Landscape of Flavors after a long day, the dining options here don’t disappoint.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know about dining at Art of Animation, including restaurant hours, popular menu items, mobile order tips, and the best snacks you won’t want to miss. If you’re planning your Disney vacation and wondering where to eat at Art of Animation, you’re in the right place!

The 2 Dining Options at Art of Animation:

#1. Landscape of Flavors Food Court

When it comes to eating at Art of Animation, the Landscape of Flavors food court is your MAIN option. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served here. The hours are subject to change, but it typically opens at 7 am and closes at 11 pm.

Since the food court serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the offerings change throughout the day.

You will find the food is not themed around a single cuisine or character. Instead, it embraces the resort’s overall celebration of art, animation, and creativity, with a diverse, globally inspired menu.

Landscape of Flavors is located inside Animation Hall, the main building where you check in at Art of Animation.

There are two entrances – the first is found as you walk past the front desk and through the “Ink and Paint Shop.” You can also walk into Landscape of Flavors from outside near the Big Blue Pool.

When you first walk into the food court from the lobby, you will see a large screen on your left. It shows everything that is currently being served. Of course, this changes throughout the day.

As you continue walking into Landscape of Flavors, you will see a large area with different stations. Where you go to order depends on what you want to eat.

Here is a closer view of one of the areas where you can order food.

And this is another view of a different area to order food.

There is a lot of seating inside Art of Animation’s Landscape of Flavors.

At almost any time of day, there were plenty of tables and chairs available. The only time it got fairly busy was during breakfast between 8 am and 9 am, as everyone was getting their Mickey waffles before heading out for the day! 🙂

As the name suggests, Landscape of Flavors is decorated and themed to different landscapes from around the world. You will find gorgeous pictures decorating the walls.

When you first walk into the Landscape of Flavors, these refrigerators will be on your left. There are many grab-and-go options, such as salads, fruit cups, parfaits, and even a Mickey cake to celebrate a special occasion. There are also many different drinks, including milk, juice, soda, water, beer, and wine.

The Art of Animation food court doesn’t disappoint when it comes to treats and desserts.

We found ourselves grabbing some of these options at night on our way back from the parks! The Mermaid Tail Cupcake is especially popular and unique to Art of Animation.

In the center of the Landscape of Flavors food court, you will find the soda and ice machines to fill up your cup.

This is also the area where you will find the coffee! 🙂

You can find microwaves and toasters in the food court, too. You need to come here to use these items since none of these appliances are in your room.

To help save yourself time, I recommend that you MOBILE ORDER food.

Instead of waiting in line to order your food, it can be waiting for you upon arrival!

Just head into the My Disney Experience app and click “Mobile Orders” then “Create New Order.” If you are currently at Art of Animation, the app should recognize your location and bring up Landscape of Flavors. But if not, it’s easy to search for the resort using “Filters.”

From here, you will be able to see all the options currently being offered. Pick what you want and check out using the app. I love that you even pay for the food from your phone, so you don’t have to wait in line.

#2. The Drop Off

The other dining option at Art of Animation Resort is located outside near the Big Blue Pool.

If you look around, you will have no trouble finding The Drop Off, a pool bar that pays tribute to Finding Nemo.

At the Drop Off pool bar, you can find an array of beverages, including adult alcoholic drinks, to enjoy while sitting at the pool. The cocktails have ocean-inspired names, such as Big Blue Ocean and Seafoam Refresher, to keep with the theme.

The Drop Off also offers a limited food menu. You can find Mickey pretzels, chips, salads, and sandwiches.

Our kids enjoyed the TREATS the most, though. They sampled Mickey ice cream sandwiches and frozen strawberry popsicles to take a break from swimming.

It’s typically open from 11:00 am to 10:30 pm.
