9 HIDDEN MICKEYS at Disney’s Polynesian Resort (2025)

Whenever we stay on Disney property, we always go on a quest for hidden Mickeys. It’s a great, low-budget activity that you can do at your own pace. It can also be a convenient way to pass the time before dining reservations or on days you are not visiting the theme parks.

Polynesian Village Resort has at least 9 hidden Mickeys for you to find.

The Polynesian is a wonderful place to search for hidden Mickeys. Begin at the front desk at the Great Ceremonial House, where you can pick up a scavenger hunt sheet that provides hints about where to find the hidden Mickeys. Or take a look at it HERE!

In case you don’t know, hidden Mickeys are subtle representations of Mickey Mouse. To recognize a hidden Mickey, look for a circle that represents Mickey’s face with two circles above it that represent his ears.

9 Hidden Mickeys I found at Polynesian Village Resort:

Hidden Mickey #1

For the first hidden Mickey, enter the Great Ceremonial House from the front doors. Take a look at the marble flooring and you’ll see a large Mickey-shape in the floor’s pattern.

Hidden Mickey #2

The next hidden Mickey is located within the atrium of the Great Ceremonial House. Look up toward the rafters, and you’ll see colorful orbs hanging from nets. You may have to move around a bit to see that three of the orbs form this hidden Mickey’s head and ears. The netting also features hidden Mickeys in the knot of each cross-section.

If you want a sweet treat while you are in this area of Polynesian Village Resort, head over to Pineapple Lanai. It’s easy to find, located just outside the Great Ceremonial House, heading toward the pool area.

Hidden Mickey #3

For this hidden Mickey, head into the BouTiki merchandise shop located in the Great Ceremonial House. Find one of the shop’s three large statues and check behind it. You’ll see a classic hidden Mickey in the form of swirls on the back of each statue.

Hidden Mickey #4

The next hidden Mickey can be found by taking the elevator to the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House. To your right, there is a tropical-themed painting that contains a collection of hidden Mickeys within its design.

Hidden Mickey #5

This hidden Mickey can be found on the stairwell between the first and second floors in the form of tubes clustered together for decor.

Hidden Mickey #6

The next hidden Mickey is located in Kona Café, a dining option in the Great Ceremonial House. Once you pass the podium at the café, look up above the kitchen. You’ll see a hidden Mickey above, in the pattern on the wall.

If you get hungry or thirsty while you are in this area of Polynesian Village Resort, Kona Café is an excellent dining option.

Hidden Mickey #7

Head next door to the Kona Island Coffee Bar for this hidden Mickey. The countertop where guests order their drinks is decorated with colorful tile work. Approach the counter next to the cash register, and you’ll see a hidden Mickey located within the tile work.

If you are craving coffee or a snack while you are in this area, Kona Island Coffee Bar is the perfect place to stop.

Hidden Mickey #8

Another hidden Mickey can be found at Moana Mercantile, in the Great Ceremonial House. Look up to an upper shelf in the store and see glass orbs knotted together with rope, similar to Hidden Mickey #2. The three orbs form this hidden Mickey’s face and ears.

Hidden Mickey #9

The last hidden Mickey can be found at the front desk, in the stonework on the wall. Look closely, and you’ll see a cluster of stones forming Mickey’s shape.

On my quest to find hidden Mickeys at Polynesian Resort, I was able to track down 9.

Due to the subtle nature of hidden Mickeys, there might be more out there to find! If you find hidden Mickeys not mentioned in this article, let me know in the comments.

You don’t have to be a guest at Polynesian Village Resort to participate in this activity. For example, if you are planning on visiting the resort for a dining reservation, searching for hidden Mickeys can be a great way to spend some time seeing more of Polynesian Village Resort.
