The 2 POOLS at Disney’s All-Star Movies! (2025)
Whenever I stay at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, I can’t help but smile at all the larger-than-life details—and that fun, playful energy extends to the pools!

There are two main pools at this value resort, and each one is themed after beloved Disney films, making them extra special for families and Disney fans like me.
Whether I’m looking to splash around with my kids or just relax in the Florida sun surrounded by movie magic, there’s a perfect spot to dive in. In this post, I’ll walk you through both pools at All-Star Movies and share what makes each one a star attraction of its own.
The 2 Pools at All-Star Movies:
Pool #1: The Fantasia Pool

The Fantasia Pool is considered the feature pool at All-star Movies! Because of its LARGE size and central location, it is the busiest and most popular pool at the resort.
As the name suggests, the Fantasia Pool is inspired by the classic Disney movie Fantasia. The central decoration is a large statue of Sorcerer Mickey at the back of the pool. Your kids will love playing and seeing the multiple jets of water that shoot out from Mickey’s sides!

If you were to look at the pool from above, you would see it is uniquely shaped. I think the design of the pool makes it look like Sorcerer Mickey is shooting out some magic from his hands. What do you think? Check it out below:

This pool is easy to find, located between Cinema Hall and the Fantasia buildings. If you walk out the back of Cinema Hall, where the main lobby and World Premier Food Court are found, you will run into the Fantasia Pool.

Surrounding the pool are lots of lounge chairs for relaxation. Behind the lounge chairs are tables with umbrellas that offer places to eat while being in the shade. Just be advised that on HOT days, the chairs and tables can get claimed quickly, so you may want to head to the pool early if this is important to you.

If you get hungry or thirsty while at the Fantasia Pool, there is an outside pool bar called Silver Screen Spirits.

It’s easy to find as it’s located next to the pool and connected to Cinema Hall. This is the ONLY bar you will find at All-Star Movies. They also offer a limited food menu, such as pretzels, chips, salads, and sandwiches.
The main food area, the World Premiere Food Court, is also close to the Fantasia Pool. It can be found just inside Cinema Hall. So if you dry off and put on shoes and a shirt, you can head here to find many more dining options. But if you’re at the pool, it would be easiest to mobile order from outside, then run inside to grab your food when it’s ready.
If you have little kids, you will be happy to learn there is a small kiddie pool and splash pad next to the Fantasia Pool. This small pool is safe for all ages and has a maximum depth of only 12 inches (30 cm). And the splash pad has some fun water fountains that spray out of a spongy area. In my opinion, it is definitely the BEST water area for toddlers among the three All-Star resorts.

The kiddie pool and splash pad are located next to each other, so small children can run back and forth all they want to play. Lastly, there is ample seating for adults, and the entire water play area is fenced in!

Since the Fantasia Pool is the biggest pool at All-Star Movies and is centrally located, it is the busiest at the resort. If you want a less crowded pool with a more relaxed atmosphere, keep reading to learn more about the other pool at All-Star Movies! 🙂
Pool #2: The Duck Pond Pool

The other pool located at All-Star Movies is the Duck Pond Pool. It is smaller than the Fantasia Pool and is considered the quieter and more relaxed pool of the two. It’s located at the north end of the resort between the Mighty Ducks buildings.
The pool and surrounding area are themed after the classic Disney movie, The Mighty Ducks. On a side note, this was one of my favorite movies as a kid, and I still remember the “Bash Brothers” and “The Flying V!”

Anyways, if you were to look at the pool from above, the entire area is supposed to resemble a hockey rink. If you look closely, you can even see the face-off circles painted on the bottom of the pool and the pool deck.

You will even find giant hockey goals at each end of the pool area.

Surrounding the pool deck, you will find lounge chairs and tables. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Because of its smaller size and location at the far north end of All-Star Movies Resort, the Duck Pond Pool is typically quieter and less crowded than the Fantasia Pool. But on hot days, you can still expect to find a crowd here. There are plenty of lounge chairs and shaded areas for you to sit and relax, but these will get claimed quickly on busy days.
More info about the Pools at All-Star Movies:
Operating hours:

Both the Fantasia Pool and the Duck Pond Pool are normally open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day. But these hours tend to change depending on the time of year that you visit. To see the current schedule, just ask the front desk when you arrive. The operating hours should also be posted on a sign near the pool entrance.
LIfeguards:

Lifeguards are on duty at both the Fantasia Pool and the Duck Pond Pool when the pools are open. The operating hours for the pool are typically from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. But the hours are subject to change depending on the time of year, so check the schedule upon arrival.
Water slides, lazy rivers, and hot tubs:
Since All-Star Movies is a “Disney Value Resort,” you won’t find any water slides, lazy rivers, or hot tubs at either of the pools. If these features are important, you must stay at a Moderate or Deluxe resort at Disney World.
Pool location:
Here are the locations for both of the pools.
- The Fantasia Pool: Located in the center of All-Star Movies and right behind Cinema Hall. You can find a kiddie pool and splash pad for young children right next to the Fantasia Pool.
- The Duck Pond Pool: Located at the north end of All-Star Movies in the Mighty Ducks section.
Here is a map of All-Star Movies Resort to help you see where the pools can be found. Click HERE to download a PDF of the map!

Life jackets:

Complimentary life jackets are available at both of the pools.
Towels:

Fresh and clean towels are available at both the Fantasia Pool and the Duck Pond Pool. In addition, there are also bins to throw your used towels into as you leave the pool area.
Activities near the pools:

At certain times of the day, Disney Cast Members come out to play games with the kids, like trivia, relays, and other pool games, that are free! They may also have paid activities like tie-dyeing a shirt or making mouse ears. Look for a recreation calendar near the pools to see that day’s schedule.
Near the Fantasia Pool, there was table tennis table that is free to use.

I also found a giant Jenga set and a ladder toss game at the entrance of the Fantasia Pool.

Another fun activity you can do near the Fantasia Pool at night is to watch a movie. Every evening a different Disney movie plays nearby at The Reel Spot, which is connected to Cinema Hall.

Upon arrival at All-Star Movies, check out the movie schedule at the Front Desk, so you don’t miss your favorite. And if you don’t like what is playing, you can easily walk over to the other two All-Star Resorts to check out the movies they are showing. 🙂
Bathrooms and showers:

There are showers located inside the bathrooms at the Fantasia Pool and the Duck Pond Pool.

Here’s how to enjoy an additional FOUR pools at All-Star Movies…
One HUGE benefit of being a guest at All-Star Movies is that you can visit the pools at the other two All-Star Resorts.
So, in addition to All-Star Movies, there is All-Star Music and All-Star Sports. Each of these resorts also has two pools uniquely designed to that resort’s theme. So that gives you FOUR more pools to try, in addition to the TWO at All-Star Movies.

And luckily, all of the All-Star Resorts are located next to each other and easily within walking distance.
Don’t take the fact that you can hop between six different pools for granted. This is a pretty rare perk when it comes to Disney World resorts.
