Universal’s Aventura Room Tour (25+ pics)

Recently, I stayed at Universal’s Aventura Hotel. I know if you’re considering a stay here, it’s nice to know what the rooms are actually like!

Aventura has a very different vibe compared to some of the other Universal Orlando resorts. It’s sleek, modern, and definitely not over-the-top themed like other places. It gives off a contemporary vibe and doesn’t feel like a theme park hotel.

In this room tour, I’ll walk you through exactly what to expect, from the layout and bed setup to the bathroom design, storage space, outlets, and other little details that can make or break your stay.

The room pictured below was a Standard 2 Queen Beds. It is a 314 square foot room, features two queen beds, along with separate bath and vanity areas. The maximum occupancy is 4 people, so no cots are available here to add a 5th person.

Aventura Room Tour: Standard 2 Queen Beds

As you walk into the room, you will notice a partition separates the sink from the sleeping area.

Here are the two queen beds. Notice that the flooring is laminate, with no carpeted areas or rugs anywhere. There is also a noticeable lack of decorations, going along with the modern, sleek theme of Aventura. Behind the curtains is a large window, going from floor to ceiling. The window does not open, and there are no balconies at Aventura Hotel.

Here is the view from the other side of the room, looking towards the exit and bathroom.

I thought the TV was sort of small for the size of the room. But I did like the large desk area.

The drawers were surprisingly large for storage space.

Here is a view of the nightstand that sits between the two queen beds. I know it looks unique, but that is a lamp next to the phone. 🙂

The tablet you see in the picture below is surprisingly important! It’s how you control the lights, including turning them on and off and adjusting brightness. You can also control the temperature, the television, as well as order room service, chat with the front desk, and request amenity deliveries from Relay the robot.

Every room at Aventura comes with amenities like a coffee/tea Maker and a mini refrigerator. Elsewhere in the room, you will find an in-room safe, an iron and an ironing board, and a hair dryer.

Here is the main closet area opened up. There is quite a lot of space for suitcases and places to hang clothes.

At the top of the closet is the iron and extra pillows.

Here is the vanity area with the sink and the bathroom. And a picture of me. 🙂 I like how it’s partitioned off in a separate area.

An up close view of the sink, along with complimentary soap and facial tissue.

The bathroom is fairly spacious with a walk-in shower. Notice that there is no bath rub, which is important for kids who need to take baths!

The complimentary shampoo and conditioner in the shower.

Make sure to view the photo gallery at the beginning to see all the pictures I took while staying in the Aventura Standard 2 Queen room.
